iShares € Govt Bond 0-3 month UCITS ETF tracks the issuer-declared index: ICE 0-3 Month Euro Government Bill Index. The declared annual cost (TER) is 0.07%, plus 0.06% in transaction costs estimated by the issuer in the KID. Replication is optimised physical replication (the KID declares optimisation techniques to achieve a return similar to the index); income is distributed to investors. The fund has assets of about 13 million euro, was launched on 24 September 2024 and is domiciled in Ireland.
The Fund aims to achieve a total return on your investment, taking into account both capital and income returns, which reflects the return of the ICE 0-3 Month Euro Government Bill Index, the Fund’s Benchmark Index (“Index”). The Share Class, via the Fund, is passively managed and aims to invest in a portfolio of fixed income securities that, as far as possible and practicable, consists of the component securities of the Index. The Fund’s investments will, at the time of purchase, comply with the credit rating requirements of the Fund’s Index. . If the credit ratings of the FI securities are downgraded, the Fund may continue to hold these until they cease to form part of the Index and it is practicable to sell the position. The Index is market capitalisation weighted and rebalances on a monthly basis. Market capitalisation is the market value of the outstanding bond issuance. The index is designed to measure the performance of Euro denominated investment grade fixed income securities issued by certain EMU member states that have a remaining maturity of less than or equal to three months at the rebalancing date. Only bonds that meet the index provider's criteria for time to maturity, fixed coupon schedule and amount outstanding are included in the Index. Inflation-linked securities are excluded from the Index. The Fund uses optimisation techniques in order to achieve a similar return to the Index and it is therefore not expected that the Fund will hold every underlying constituent of the Index at all times or hold them in the same proportion as their weightings in the Index. The Fund may hold some securities which are not underlying constituents of the Index where such securities provide similar performance (with matching risk profile) to certain securities that make up the Index. These may also include the use of financial derivative instruments (FDIs) (i.e. investments the prices of which are based on one or more underlying assets). FDIs may be used for direct investment purposes. The Fund may also engage in short-term secured lending of its investments to certain eligible third parties to generate additional income.

The price of fixed income securities may be affected by changing interest rates which in turn may affect the value of your investment. Fixed income securities prices move inversely to interest rates. Therefore, the market value of fixed income securities may decrease as interest rates increase. The credit rating of an issuing entity will generally affect the yield that can be earned on fixed income securities; the better the credit rating the smaller the yield.
