Description and fund objective

iShares US Large Cap Deep Buffer UCITS ETF is an actively managed ETF: it does not track an index — the declared index (NASDAQ 100 Index) is a comparison yardstick only. The declared annual cost (TER) is 0.50%, plus 0.00% in transaction costs estimated by the issuer in the KID. Income is accumulated and reinvested in the fund. The fund has assets of about 27 million euro, was launched on 30 September 2025 and is domiciled in Ireland. In our registry 2 other ETFs declare the same index.

The fund’s objective — in the issuer’s words

The Fund is actively managed and aims to reflect the price return of US large cap equities represented by the S&P 500 Index (the "Index") up to an approximate cap on positive performance of the Index (the “Upside Cap”) whilst seeking to provide a level of downside protection against negative performance of the Index (the “Approximate Buffer”) when shares are held from the beginning to the end of a specified 3month outcome period (the “Outcome Period”).

Keep reading the KID section ▾

The Approximate Buffer aims to protect between approximately -5% to -20% of the Index’s downside performance where shares are held for an entire Outcome Period. The value of the Fund will not be protected where the Index has decreased in value outside of the buffer level protection at the end of an Outcome Period. The performance of the Fund is subject to the Upside Cap which is an approximate cap on the positive performance of the Fund in respect of an Outcome Period. A new Upside Cap and Approximate Buffer will be set for each Outcome Period and will vary from one Outcome Period to the next. The Approximate Buffer and Upside Cap (and the Fund’s position relative to each during an Outcome Period) should be considered before investing in this Fund (see the Fund’s website). To achieve the target outcomes sought by the Fund for an Outcome Period, an investor must hold shares in the Fund for that entire Outcome Period. Investors who invest during an Outcome Period or sell their shares prior to the end of an Outcome Period may experience very different results than the Fund’s investment objective. In order to achieve its investment objective, the Fund will invest in financial derivative instruments (FDIs) (i.e. investments the prices of which are based on one or more underlying assets). In particular in unfunded total return swaps which seek to deliver the performance of the Index and listed options in order to implement the Approximate Buffer and Upside Cap. The Fund may, via FDIs, generate varying amounts of market leverage (i.e. where the Fund gains market exposure in excess of the value of its assets). The Fund is actively managed and the IM has discretion to select the Fund’s investments. The IM is not bound by the components or weighting of the Index when selecting investments. The Index should be used by investors to compare the performance of the Fund, although the implementation of the Approximate Buffer and the Upside Cap means that the performance of the Fund may differ significantly from the Index. The price of equity securities fluctuates daily and may be influenced by factors affecting the performance of the individual companies issuing the equities, as well as by daily stock market movements, and broader economic and political developments which in turn may affect the value of your investment. The relationship between the return on your investment, how it is impacted and the period for which you hold your investment is considered below (see “How long should I hold it and can I take my money out early?”).

The depositary of the Fund is State Street Custodial Services (Ireland) Limited. Using unfunded total return swaps may result in a ‘swap spread’, which is the overall economic impact of the swaps and is reflected in the Fund’s NAV. The weighted average swap spread in respect of the Fund is available on the BlackRock website at www.blackrock.com Further information about the Fund can be obtained from the latest annual report and half-yearly reports of the iShares VI plc. These documents are available free of charge in English and certain other languages. These can be found, along with other (practical) information, including prices of units, on the iShares website at: www.ishares.com or by calling +49 89427295800 or from your broker or financial adviser.

Your shares will be accumulating shares (i.e. income will be included in their value). Your shares will be denominated in US Dollar, the Fund's base currency. The shares are listed and traded on various stock exchanges. In normal circumstances, only authorised participants may buy and sell shares directly with the Fund. Investors who are not authorised participants (e.g. select financial institutions) can generally only buy or sell the shares on the secondary market (e.g. via a broker on a stock exchange) at the then prevailing market price. The value of the shares are related to the value of the underlying assets of the Fund, less costs (see “What are the costs?” below). The prevailing market price at which the shares trade on the secondary market may deviate from the value of the Shares. Indicative net asset value is published on relevant stock exchanges websites.

Intended retail investor:The Fund is intended for retail investors with the ability to bear losses up to the amount invested in the Fund (see “How long should I hold it and can I take my money out early?”).

Insurance benefits:The Fund does not offer any insurance benefits.

Chart, returns, risk and the simulation use the issuer’s total-return series (base 100, as of 16 October 2026): for an accumulating class it is the same thing as the NAV, published with more decimals. The latest NAV at the top of the page is the published one.
Note — currency risk: the fund is denominated (or hedged) in USD and the chart is in USD. For a euro investor, returns also depend on the EUR/USD exchange rate, up or down.
Tip: drag across the chart to zoom into a period.

Drawdown — distance from previous peak

This isn’t the return: it shows how far the fund is below its previous peak. 0% = you’re at the peak; below zero = how much you’re down and haven’t recovered yet.

Method and sources

Source: iShares. Issuer-declared historical series; inflation: Eurostat and national statistical institutes, latest available August 2026 — for later days the index stays at the last published value (institutes publish with a few weeks’ lag). The «adjusted for inflation» view expresses value in today’s purchasing power for the selected country; volatility always stays nominal, as elsewhere on the site (deflating it would add artificial swings caused by the monthly cadence of the price index). Past performance is not indicative of future results: these are facts, not a recommendation.

Windows longer than the available price history cannot be computed and are not shown: they will appear on their own as time passes. Computed from the issuer’s daily total-return series (base 100: for an accumulating class it coincides with the NAV, with more decimals), always in nominal terms. Sharpe and Sortino use the ECB main refinancing rate averaged over the period (last year: 2.25%), weighted by days in force, as the risk-free rate. Same formulas as our public methodology: sample standard deviation annualised over 252 days; Sortino with downside deviation. Past performance is not indicative of future results. from tax document — ticker from the half-yearly document the issuer publishes for the Italian tax authority, one ticker per exchange: where the exchange trades several lines (different currencies) the others do not appear.
from mapping — ticker obtained by ISIN→exchange mapping under the open FIGI standard, not read from the exchange’s list.
Each row is one exchange: the operator with all its markets and segments (regulated market and Freiverkehr included). “Registered since”: admission date in the ESMA register (FIRDS), not necessarily the first trading day; a dash = date not recorded in the sources.
+ 6 other trading platforms (platforms for professional participants and segments without admission to listing, such as an exchange operator’s dark books or auctions): they are not exchanges and are not listed.
Exchanges are taken from the official ESMA register (FIRDS) and, where FIRDS does not cover the exchange (London, Zurich) or does not record the current listing, from the issuers’ product lists and documents: the “Exchange source” column says so row by row. Each exchange is a single row, with all its markets and segments. Tickers come from the issuers’ product lists and tax documents or, where indicated, from ISIN→exchange mapping under the open FIGI standard (OpenFIGI). Activity on a dark book, an auction or an ancillary platform does not prove a listing on the exchange that operates it. Rebalix mainly covers venues in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom: when the issuer declares current listings in other jurisdictions too, they appear with their source, outside the ESMA register perimeter. Terminated or cancelled listings are not shown. The same fund may trade in different currencies depending on the exchange: check the trading currency with your broker.
