The investment objective of the Fund is to provide exposure to the government bond market in India. The Fund is passively managed and aims to track the performance of the J.P. Morgan India Government Fully Accessible Route (FAR) Bonds Index (the “Index”), before the deduction of fees and expenses. The Index is designed to provide exposure to Indian Rupee denominated government bonds issued by the central government of India that are eligible for investment by non resident investors under the Fully Accessible Route (FAR).
